Title: Generator on 2-6-6-2

Good Evening All,

      Can anyone tell me what type of generator is installed on the HO scale 2-6-6-2?

They were turbo generators.

Sounds to simple but all the generators where turbo type as far as I know, operated by steam, generators. Even the old carbon arc lights used a steam generator.
Yes, different companies made turbo generators.

Locomotive Acetylene lights used a gas generator, hidden somewhere in the cab area. Not electrical of course. Those where in the oil lamps time.
