Title: how to prevent iron fillings from causeing speaker crackle on parpgon 2 diesels?

   Big problem, speaker crackle on Paragon 2 diesel locos.  How to  remedy this problem? Any ideas?  Thanks

You do not say where the speakers are so I will assume the oil tank. My BLI's have the speaker up over the rear trucks.
Take a piece of nylon gauze from a woman's hose.
From a simple Google search for iron filings loco speaker. Took a long time, about 65 seconds but I  found what I was looking for with a link to store in Favorites.
