The Berkshire and E60CP Electrics are great surprises...as are the Sharks in HO-scale!!! Can't Wait! Already pre-ordered a Berk; E60CP; and 3 Sharks from my dealer.

Also, are the delivery dates correct? I remember you stated Bachmann planned to shorten the window between announcements and delivery, but was surprised to see Oct/Nov '07 dates on most of these new items! Cool, if correct!

On the topic, is the E60 going to be Spectrum?

as i whrote, all constructions, that are not spectrum standart will be a joke for this engine.
I guess, it will be made in the way like the HHp8 or the E33. if this will be, so i can order at minimum 8-10 engines.....to increase the fleet

A question for all.....well for any of you who have purchased any of the newer, re-released standard line Bachmann steam engines. How do they run? I have had such a bad experience with the standard line that unless it is Spectrum I am not inclined to buy. I was soooo hoping that the Berk would be in the Spectrum line.

I have two of the 0-6-0s. They run very well and pull well for their size. I'm afraid I'm going to have to get rid of them with my DCC layout, as I really don't want to convert them to DCC - though I may. I really have too many switchers as it is - four 0-8-0s, and an SW-9, plus the two 0-6-0s.

What can anyone tell me about the value/ resale value of the decoder and/or the sound units that will come in the HO engines? I have no need for, and therefore no intention of spending extra money for, un-needed extras. However, if I could recoupe some of my "extra" money, I might be willing to buy a couple of the new offerings. Thanks in advance for any guidance you might offer. - Mike S.
