Title: driver out of quarter
Post by: rrbob on May 24, 2012, 01:12:39 PM
I just purchased an HO  Bachmann 2-8-0 with sound and the main driver is out of quarter causing the drive rode on one side to not be in a straight line.
How can this be fixed? Or do I need a whole new driver to replace it?
If I send it bach to Bachmann will it be replaced with one with sound?

bob-

Bachmann will repair or replace your locomotive with an equivalent model for free if you recently purchased it from a recognized retailer. They might not do it for free if you obtained it from a non-retail site like a fellow modeler on ebay or suchlike. Bachmann is prompt, capable and generous in administering their warranty policies. You have nothing to worry about.

Some eBay sellers are registered, I know TheFavoriteSpot is one of them.

I hadn't even thought about that when I sent in my O-gauge ten-wheeler, but Bachmann is honoring my eBay purchase from Mario's Trains.
