Title: 4-8-4 dcc on board war baby

I am looking into buying a 4-8-4 warbaby. does anyone have any experience with this model? is a good runner?

hi yes is awesome runner i had one  in till bachmann replace with a American freedom gs4 4-8-4 they both can pull 9 cars on flat track

Thanks. I have the Niagara and it runs very smooth. The berk, not so much (yet). The one I am looking at is #4464. I think I"ll grab it but I don't see it listed on this site. I wonder if it is out of production already.

Second on the berk! Needs a bit of work. Tried pulling the 19 car coal train im used to with my ATSF 4-8-4, and i had to take off 6 cars just to get it rolling again on the club helix! (3 55 ton and 16 70 ton Atlas trainman hoppers) The 4-8-4s (I've ran the Niagara before) are great locos. I'm sure the war baby will be just as good.  :)
