Are you sure the "dust" isn't "weathering powder"?

No, its not weathering powder, every thing i bought from him was covered in about 8 yrs of dust
I cleaned up a 4-8-4 with tender but the body removed pretty easy, now it looks brand new.
I am a little nervous about a $800.00 engine.

Thanks

If the dust comes off easily with a brush  I would suggest  a  vacuum cleaner  with  mini vacuum cleaner nozzles. I think  Micro-marks sells them . They are probably  also found at Office supply stores and  computer stores. You might also  consider small cans of compressed air dusters also found at the above locations. Please wear shop glasses & filter masks .  Also  make sure the three year old is no where around  when you  do this. J2.

Are you saying you paid $800 for a eight year old used Trix bigboy?

Good night!  Do you have any idea how much small brass you can buy for that kind of change?

Whiz-

True, but perhaps he wanted a Big Boy. It's his money.

You are right, but I was only making a comparison.
