Title: DCC address
Post by: Grandpagator on January 08, 2013, 01:08:51 PM
Can any one tell me how to change a bachmann climax, form 3 to another address.   I have tried to change it to 09, but met with no success.  I have a NCE Powercab throttle.

Thanks :)

Gp-

Please limit your questions to one at a time. Asking the same thing in
different places won't get you a faster or a better response. It will
merely clog up the board.

I am not familiar with the programming of your particular locomotive; but I have reprogrammed my GE 45-Ton, both my American 4-4-0s and my On30 Davenport. In each case I used a separate programming track that was powered with a Soundtraxx PTB-100 Programming Track Booster. Most of today's decoders (especially sound decoders) require more 'power' than "programming on the main" can supply. This particular booster costs around $60.

I hope this helps,
Ray

I have the NCE Power Cab. It has the program track option.
