Title: Programming Problem
Post by: snoopytoo on April 21, 2013, 08:42:00 PM
Just bought a Spectrum Climax, DCC & Sound.  Cannot change the decoder address.   When I attempt to change the address, the message on the throttle said "no d" the engine still ran only when the throttle was set to locomotive #03.  I have tried all four programming modes without success.  I can change other CV's.

Need some suggestions on programming a new address.

Try putting the loco on the main and use paged ptogramming. Make sure no other loco's are on the track.Once programmed, remove the loco from the track, replace the loco. The headlights should flash showing the CV took. Joe
