Title: EZ Track shortage?
Post by: Bob_B on June 15, 2013, 08:20:39 PM
I'm in Australia and tried to order some track among other things from a local supplier and received this response.

There is some manufacturing problems currently causing issues for the worldwide supply of the Bachmann EZ track.
We heard back from the suppliers and they said it would be 2 or 3 months before we got one of the sections, and then several more before we got the other three.

The order included:-
1 x 44510 Nickel Silver 9in. Straight Terminal Rerailer W/Wire (1/Card)
1 x 44530 Nickel Silver 18in. 10° Rad Curved Track (4/Card)
1 x 44506 Nickel Silver 28in. 18° Rad Curved Track (4/Card)
1 x 44509 Nickel Silver 33.25in. 12° Rad Curved Track (4/Card)

I'm also having trouble getting Bachmann HO 78999 Uncouplers.

Is there a known problem?

I've tried three eBayers so far with no luck but these are in Australia to save me on postage.
I may have to try international but it gets a tad expensive  :-\

Try modeltrainstuff.com or favoritespot.com, two of my favorites for EZ track at good discount prices with reasonable shipping costs, at least in the states.  Not sure of their int'l shipping rates.
