I noticed that Bachmann does not make a GP30 in Conrail markings.

This would be one way to go; and in the 1980s paint and decal was the only way to go to get a lot of things.

or----buy a pennsy one, paint out the lettering with black paint, and add a new number and "cr' markings. this was common in the early years of conrail, up until about 1985.
