Title: Programming 2-8-0
Post by: Lester Perry on June 30, 2013, 10:35:13 PM
I just relieved a Spectrum 2-8-0 locomotive. I am trying to program some basic CVs and can't get any response. CV 5, CV6. Also it starts out slow then takes off like a rocket. I can't find any information on this can someone help me here?

What control system are you using? Have you read the loco's and the decoder's doocumentation?

If this is a standard line DCC-on-board loco with the standard Bachmann decoder, then I don't believe CV5 and 6 are supported.

Do you know what decoder is in the loco?
