Hi : I recently acquired a Bachmann HO train set. Empire Builder 105 pieces Mint in Box. part # 00-340 ??? Can anyone give me some info on it ? Date Made etc.

GP18 diesel is 1989-90ish, steam before that I think.

These were in the Bmann catalog until just the past year or so. It doesn't have any special value, especially
if it's used. New, it would be worth about 40% of MSRP. You can check eBay for new prices or look at various Inet
hobby shops. You need to be aware that very, very few old trains (and these aren't even old) have much value
and that's true in spades for sets.
