Title: Spectrum 4-6-0 shell removal
Post by: MilwaukeeRoadfan261 on August 18, 2013, 11:56:47 AM
Could anyone tell me what steps I have to take to get the body shell off of the HO scale 63" driver 4-6-0? The diagram is really no help at figuring out what screw goes where and what parts on the shell I have to move out of the way to pull the shell off.

I have always found the diagrams to be very helpful but below should help.
My 4-6-0 is the small driver loco but I believe the screw locations might be the same. The boiler is a tight fit, even with the screws removed.
