Title: Bachmann Turntable Rail Head Alignment
Post by: richd286 on August 18, 2013, 02:24:20 PM
I added the motorized DCC turntable to my layout.  I have noticed that some of the connecting tracks end up at a different height when the turntable aligns with it.  The turn table track is noticeably lower and most engines get hung up trying to make the "step" up to exit the turntable.  Is there any adjustment that can be made.  I think this is one for Mr. Bach Man.   Thanks

There should be no difference in height. Make sure the indexing track is snapped down. There are two clips on the inside of the track make sure those did not come up.
On my tt, I mounted it to a piece of plywood and screwed the tt to the board between the indexing track with bevel heads so I could countersink them into the tt. The good thing about this is you can tighten or loosen to get the bridge to make good contact. The bridge has a poor contact design and should have been made with more spring in the contacts. I had to do a little bending to get all to make contact.

Dear Rich,
You may need a replacement. Discuss with the service department.
Thanks!
