Title: Repair a broken switch
Post by: dstuttgen on November 23, 2013, 01:07:23 AM
I managed to break my EZ track switch today. I pulled the short piece of straight rail out to the ties (big oaf  :-[).  My question is; can I glue it back in with just a dab of JB weld?

Cheers, Dan

JB Weld might be overkill.  Try just sliding the rail back in place and securing it with a little superglue.

Superglue? Okay, I can try that.

You might need the gel type of superglue - sometimes called gap filling - depending on how tight the rail is when you slide it back on.
