Title: Metal wheels for McKinley cars
Post by: Bas on December 23, 2013, 07:03:03 AM
Hello everybody

I've bought the 3 McKinley cars with plastic wheels. Which metals wheels need to be installed to get better performance?

Best regards from the snowwhite Swiss alps and a merry christmas to all

Kadee or intermountain make quality 36" wheelsets that should fit these cars just fine.

The Kadee wheels are sintered metal. Black threads.

The Intermountain are machine wheels with a sort of shiny silverer thread.

If cost is not much of an issue, I would go with the Intermountain.
