Title: Vandy oil tender
Post by: richG on September 19, 2007, 07:26:35 PM
I am looking for a couple short Vandy oil tenders. Anyone seen them for sale without the USRA 0-6-0?

You could do what the real railroads did - drop an oil tank into the coal bunker of the "medium" Vandy.

I want the short tender. I might find a short Vandy coal tender on eBay and drop a oil tank into it. I see those sometimes.
Thanks for the suggestion.

What Bachmann calls the medium Vandy, I call a small.  A medium Vandy, to me, is the 12V, and what they have is something like a 9V, I'm sure.

Notice the difference in space between the tender trucks.
