Title: south shore trolley/ inturuban
Post by: clan line 35028 on September 10, 2014, 11:19:29 PM
Anyone here know if there are any kits or stuff that can be used to make a Chicago south shore & south bend interurban car. I work with a few at East Troy Electric Railroad but would like to have a few models of them to run on my HO/OO gauge layout too.

35028-

Yes, there are actually quite a few South Shore Line models available. However, the only ones I have seen are brass so they are expensive. Suydam made the greatest variety and you might check to see if Fox Valley models made a complete train. If so, it will be plastic but very nicely done. They still won't go for the price of a shake-the-box kit but they'll be a lot less than brass.
