Title: New To N Scale Hobby Need help with power.
Post by: jmoor98904 on December 15, 2014, 11:37:02 PM
Hello All,

I am new to the hobby and like the Bachmann n scale ez-track, I have a 3' x 6' table for my train. I want to 2 trains the outer train to be on an oval by itself and in inside train being on a double oval layout. My question is should I just use the 2 power packs it came with and keep them separate and will that be enough power for my layout? Or do I need to somehow have more feeder wires like I have researched on the net?

I guess I need to know if I just plug the box into one of the "11.25" Radius Terminal Rerailer with Wire"  is that going to be sufficient power?

The power packs you have now will be fine as long as the ovals aren't joined together .

I agree with Mike, for a 3' x 6' DC layout those will be fine. I know because my first layout was with Bachmann power packs, which I still have.
