Title: Battery Powered Heisler
Post by: BillBrakeman on March 05, 2015, 11:07:03 AM
I would like to convert a Heisler to battery power using a "Revo" ESC, "Phoenix" PCB plus a battery.  Has anyone done this conversion?  If so what battery did you use and where did you place the three components?

Thanks in advance for any help you provide.

Everything can fit in the bunker of the Heisler. I did mine quite a while ago (and have since sold it), but at first was using 3 4-pack AA battery holders (14.4 volts). I later converted to 14.8 volt Li-Ion packs which took up even less space. That was with an old RCS and Sierra sound system. The Revo/Phoenix combination takes up even less space. You should have no troubles.

Later,
