Title: preventing power drop offs
Post by: billgiannelli on March 29, 2015, 12:40:12 PM
My locomotive keeps stopping then when I stop and start the engine (via dcc) it moves again.
I believe the power level is dropping.
How do I prevent that?
thank you

How big is your layout? I run feeders every 3 ft.. Run a bus feed under your layout and drop feeders to it.
Could it be your track is dirty, does it stop in the same spot?

I have 3 loops on a 4' x 8' table. So I think I do need additional feeders.
I just have the Bachmann single red wire power lead.
How do I wire in a Bus feed and feeders?
Might there be a link to illustrate this?
thank you! :)

You can splice the red wire from the controller into the bus and use the terminal railer you have as a feeder.
