You might be new here so take time to look over all the Bachmann site. Lots of good info here.

What you did was opened your email address to the complete world and hackers, spammers who do not need to belong to the forums.
Never, ever forget. Failure is not an option. It comes bundled with Windows.
I have some friends who have had their PC hacked because they would do things like this.
As an aside, if you ever get an email from someone you do not know, don't even click on it, especially if there is an attachment. Delete it. Clear the Trash can also.
