does bachman ez track make a terminal track with contacts that can be wired with regular wire instead of the terminal  that is provided with the train sets ?

you might look into replacing some of the rail joiners with atlas terminal joiners, which are like regular rail joiners with wires soldered to them. or, you can solder the wires to the joiners yourself.

In that same vein, you can solder wires directly to the sides of each rail of a section of track. One on one side and the other on the other.  Drill a small hole between ties on either side to run each wire up through the EZ track and next to each rail.  I prefer stranded wire and to tin the ends of the wire first.  Make sure you put a heat sink on the rails to take some the heat while you solder to them.  Use non acid flux on the rail and rosin core solder.
