I used DecoderPro 3 to read back the type of decoder in the Bachmann ALCO 2-6-0 and it gave me two choices:
It's either a Bachmann E-Z Command 2 function OR 4 function decoder. Anyone know whether it's a 2 or 4 function decoder? This DCC stuff is all new to me and I'm a senior citizen. Thanks in advance.

It's a 2 function DCC decoder made by Lenz. Welcome to the club! The two functions control the front light and rear light.
