I'm reposting this under a more attention getting title. As far as I'm concerned, every model railroader should see these videos.

Maybe you all have seen these videos before. The acting is pretty wooden but the mid 1950s end of the steam era footage is beyond priceless. I especially like the roundhouse scenes, with the low whistle moan echoing inside.
The link is to one video, the rest are indicated below. About an hour and a half of sheer joy for us steam fans. The whole scene is achingly familiar for those my age (late 60s). I remember it all. And still miss it.
