Title: DCC EZ command center
Post by: LarryA on January 09, 2016, 05:17:17 PM
I just set up the ez command center. Programing my DCC engine was very easy. I followed the instructions to attach my analog controller to the unit so I could control my non DCC locomotive. I was able to control the analog engines using the # 10 spot on the command center. When I connected the analog controller to the Dcc controller I used the cable they that came with  the new unit, but the analog controller will not  control the old train. Did I miss a step somewhere?

What analog controller is connected to the E-Z Command Control Center?

Power pack is removed from the E-Z Command Control Center and all connections made per figure 18 on page 6 of the  E-Z Command Setup and Programming Instructions  (http://www.bachmanntrains.com/home-usa/images/E-Z_Command_instructions.pdf) ?

I double checked the wiring setup and it's correct. I am using a 46605A analog controller, which, according to the Web is the same as a 44212 mentioned in the instructions.

Unplug first the wall power supply then all the connections. Now,  starting at track make all the connections in sequence to plugging in the wall power supply last.

If analog controller still will not work, contact  Bachmann Service Department  (http://www.bachmanntrains.com/home-usa/service.php)
