Hello all.
Has anyone come up with a good sound decoder for the Bachmann doodlebugs?
Thank you.

Some research is needed --- Was the bug used by the railroad you model gas engine or had the RR converted to it diesel?

Thanks for the prompt reply.
The bug is as built. No conversions. Just a gas engine.

None that I know about. The ones from SoundTraxx and Digitrax are diesel based.

Check with  QSI Solutions  (http://www.qsisolutions.com/) They list a Doodlebug, Sound File#1100-699, Version: 8.9.8, for their HO Scale Q2-FX Titan decoder but I have not heard it and the decoder with it loaded may cost more than you want to spend.
