Title: Setting up left or right remote switches
Post by: JoeMarty on December 08, 2016, 06:37:12 PM
I have a basic Budweiser Holiday Express set.  I bought an ez  track expander set that has a left and a right remote switch.  I added them to my track just fine and can manually operate the switches just fine.  But they have wires attached to the switches, as well as wire and devices in the package, which are presumably for attaching them and operating them electrically, but I have no clue how to do that.  Possibly pertinent to all this is that I have a basic controller---power in, track wire out.  On the back are two push buttons for accessories.  That's it!  Any help anyone can give will be appreciated, but please be mindful that I am an absolute beginner.  Thanks.

If I understand your description correctly, those two push-buttons are for accessory power.

Here's the link to the instructions:  http://www.bachmanntrains.com/home-usa/dwg/dwgs/HO__6_Turnouts_Instructions.pdf

Have fun!

Thanks for the reply and the instructions.  As for fun, not sure of that, but I hope to get them to work.
