Title: Preparing for the Turbo train

hello all Simon here

I was just wondering if anyone has an idea if the Rapido turbo train would work on Bachmann DCC Track

There's no such thing as "Bachmann DCC Track".  Track power is either AC, DC, or DCC.  Any train, with the correct decoder installed will work on any track whether doesn't matter if it's Bachmann track or handlaid track.

If the Bachmann DCC system if NMRA compliant, and if the Rapido turbo decoder is NMRA compliant, then they will work together.

make sure you check how tight a radius that turbo will handle

Rapido says that if you remove the guiding arms, it can do 18" radius (24" minimum with the arms).
