Title: Programming Bachmann locomotive addresses on digitrax DCC system
Post by: bigalspitzer on May 25, 2019, 10:41:47 AM
I have a Digital DB150 Empire Builder DCC system. I can not program the locomotive number for the address of any of my Bachmann locomotives. Nothing works. I am positive that I am following the digitrax procedure correctly. All my Bachmann locomotives have the DCC on board decoder installed by Bachmann at the factory. Does anyone know what has to be done as an extra in order to program these locomotives on my system. Thanks for your help.

Using a Digitrax system to program Bachmann decoders usually involves putting a 1K Ohm resistor across the programming track. Especially if it's a sound decoder.
