Title: Bachmann GP7 Issues
Post by: Offending Railroad on November 03, 2019, 10:06:14 AM
I have a Bachmann Rock Island GP7 with DCC/Sound.  I don't know what happened, but it is running very slow at maxim speed.  Does anyone know what has happened to it?  Can I fix it myself or do I have to send it back to Bachmann.  Thanks Andy

It could be the controller.  Do other locomotives have the same problem?

Does the motor sound any different?

Perhaps one of the DCC speed settings glitched, have you tried resetting the decoder?

What DCC system are you using? I know Digitrax has a switch button on the DT series throttle that when pressed slows the  max  speed down.  Jow
