Saw this product at Lowe's and wondered if anyone has tried it on their layout.

The stuff uses Lithium grease as a carrier, so, no......I wouldn't use it on my layout.

That is what I was thinking as a former mechanic.

The product description says, "...a compound that enhances electrical and thermal conductivity which is used on high power crimp connections and stud bolt mountings."
"High power" doesn't exactly sound like it's intended for use in the low voltage arena of the average layout. It sounds more like it's aimed at commercial applications using fairly heavy duty connections.

I've used this product on some other electrical projects, and it worked like a charm. No, you don't wanna use it on a layout.
