Title: EZ-Lube for Amfleets
Post by: Ken S. on December 28, 2020, 05:08:29 PM
Is there a recommended EZ-Lube for the Amfleet cars? I got six from the recent run and they gave one of my Walthers F40s a very hard time.

Generally I use a Truck tuner from Micro Mark. A couple swipes does it.
I have never used lube for trucks.
Kadee Greas-Em might work. It is for couplers.

Related, but is there a certain way to apply the lube?

There isn't much you can do for the amfleets. They roll on an axle mount, not on the ends like other cars. Nature of the beast that they don't roll freely. Just sayin...

I tried applying some dry graphite where the axles meet the truck mount. Didn't really help.
