Title: Laser cut model 39101
Post by: Mwehr1974 on February 11, 2021, 09:26:45 PM
I was gifted laser cut model 39101, but this is my first time with this type of model. Please advise as to what glue , paint, and any nuances about assembling these models, please.
Also, what type of wood are they made from?
The instructions are very vague, almost non existent.

Thank you!

Welcome.

I just did a search. How about this or maybe yellow wood glue I use to uses years ago.
Maybe Bachmann has a glue.

Dear M,
I am currently building 39114, the modern diesel house.
This kit is made predominately of MDF; medium-density fiberboard.
In my experience in 1:1 construction, this is a very absorbent material,
so carpenter's glue should be a good choice.
However, since this kir requires pre-painting, which seals the material, I have been using Dr. Mike's
CA, and I am having excellent results.
Have fun!
