Title: HO wiring
Post by: Arjay on March 25, 2021, 04:22:09 PM
Need help to wire HO layout with one large oval containing 2 left and right switches and a 30 degree crossover.

Where do I put the insulators and where do I use twin connectors?

I can send a layout if that helps.

Thanx

Do you mean you tried to combine a large oval and a figure 8?  If so, you have set up a very complicated situation.

If you're doing what Jonathan described, you put the gaps so they isolate the red and white sections of track as shown in this diagram:

Decide which half you want to be the 'reversing section' and which half will be the 'main', then wire accordiing to the instructions that came with the twin.
