I have the book "Wiring Your Model Railroad" but have a question not answered there. I am planning a DC layout, two cabs and isolated blocks on the layout. If two trains are running simultaneously on isolated oval rail lines, and I stop cab A, switch it to reverse, did I just slam cab B with a voltage reversal? Is the only solution to not use a common ground?
Both cabs will operate independently of each other. One cab is not affected by the other cab's polarity.
Thank you.
A flashback to the Model Railroad Jurassic. I haven't heard of this stuff since I was a teenage Model Railroader.
