Title: Engine repair question
Post by: Mark Joe on April 11, 2024, 02:41:10 PM
I broke the pins trying to connect my engine to tender.  How do I fix?

Thanks,

Mark

You drill out the broken off part and find some plastic rod of the same diameter to make a new one.  If you build plastic structure kits, the sprues that hold the kit parts before assembly are usually pretty good for that role. I've done that a couple of times And they haven't broken yet even with 35 and 40 car trains behind the engine.
