Does anybody know the lengths of the track that comes in part numbers 44829 and 44899

What scale?  You can Google it or look on Bachmann's online store page.

(44829) 1.125 in. / 28.575 mm
(44899) 1.5 in. / 38.1 mm

The model numbers (44829 and 44899) that you were referring to are "N" scale track.
