Help! Just tried to use my Emmet Kelley 040 (roustabout?) to test my track layout, and the gear between the motor and driver stripped out. Is there a replacement for it, whether its just the gear or the whole gear box? I think it might be a version 4? It has a hump in the bottom cover between the rear driver. Also what type of lube grease is used on these gears?
Looks like the "Emmet Kelley 040 (roustabout?)" is same as "0-4-0 Side Tank Porter" with virtually no parts available at Bachmann.
Also, appear to be two versions (early and late) and that may affect gearing.

Well, Jiro has made similar gears for me in the past. As mentioned in Steve's prior post, measure the diameter and number of teeth, and send the info (preferably with the bad gear) to Jiro:
