Title: Newbie- question about track layout size
Post by: brainguynyc on December 11, 2025, 03:25:33 PM
I was looking at a set with the following description: "34" x 24" oval of nickel silver E-TrackĀ® including 11 pieces curved track, 4 pieces straight track, and 1 curved plug-in terminal rerailer." My question: must I stick to that size? Can I make the layout 34x14 or some other variation? Am I locked to that size?
Thanks.

You can make it whatever size you want by adding additional pieces, or removing a straight or two if the basic oval length is too much for your space.

My locomotive is a GE44 Spectrum HO scale; I think it must be easily over 15 years old. I bought it on eBay, so I'm not sure of its exact age. I haven't been able to find any spare parts for the motorized buggy, not even on eBay. The GE44 locomotive is made in Hong Kong, so I imagine it must be quite old. I would appreciate any help you can give me in restoring it to working order. Thank you in advance

These are the parts listed in the Parts Store for the 44 ton loco. Click on an item to see if it is currently in stock.
