Title: gscale train cleaning

Hello train helpers, I am new to the train world , I just bought a used Gscale Bachman "Thunderbolt Express" its needs cleaning ,its a bit dusty and dirty. Any suggestions

I suppose you mean the outside of the engine and cars, right?

The less impact you have on the item the better.  Gentle brushing with a medium stiff artist brush and application of spray keyboard air will probably get a lot of of it off.  Try that first and see what it does. If they're still a lot left to get back to us and we'll figure out Plan B.

A Q-tip dipped in warm soapy water can be used to get heavy crud out of crevices, like between the boiler and running board, if the brush does not get it. Go back over the area with a Q-tip dipped in plain water to remove soap residue when you are done.

On one of my display locomotives my wife used Endust on a soft cloth and what that didn't get she used a soft artist brush and Q tips coated with Endust.  Looked great when she was done.

I usually use them dry, but Endust, or I often spritz armorall..
