I have a set of four large scale "Lil Hauler" coaches with link and pin couplers that don't match the industry standard. At one time Bachmann made a conversion part that they included in their large scale Thomas items to correct this (they didn't include the part in the Lil Hauler items, alas). I called Bachmann recently and they told me the part # was G88012, but they had none in stock and are not sure if they ever will again.
I don't need to convert all four cars. If I just convert one end of the baggage car, I will always use that as the "converter" car for the rest of the train. But I don't even have one of the conversion pieces.
I posted this in the large scale forum and they suggested I post it here. Does anybody have one of the coupler height conversion parts lying around that I could have/buy? Thank you.
