Title: Taking off the doodlebug body
Post by: andras on January 24, 2008, 04:53:41 PM
Is there some trick I'm missing to taking off the body of the Doodlebug? There are clearly clips on the side, but the floor is still reluctant to come loose, so I'm guessing there's some other fastening that I don't know about.

And I don't want to break anything....    :(

Try removing the couplers. On almost every Bachmann loco that I've seen, the coupler screw hepls keep the floor attached to the body.

Dear Andras,
Carefully run a hobby knife around the edge of the frame. This will free the shell.
Have fun!
