And the last hymn sung, in the Second Class Lounge, led by a Church of England priest was "Eternal Father Strong to save."

Maybe that would explain why i was in such a sour mood(I was so busy yesterday i didnt have time to think of the date, and i'm a big Titanic Fanatic)

See I named my Monster Truck for a game after it(Monster Truck Madness 2)

Why an American flag on a truck dedicated to a British registered ship?  And yes, I know that White Star Line was owned by an American consortum at the time.

But it was British registered and British manned.  It obeyed British Board of Trade rules - like the number of life boats carried.   :'(

BTW, there is apparently one survivor left alive.  She was only about two months old when the ship foundered.

My grand parents couldn't get booking on the Titanic so had to take the next ship.

Do you know why?  The ship was way below full booking.  In fact the stateroom used in TITANIC (the 1990's movie) was vacant.  That one was quite expensive, but there were available staterooms or berths in all three classes.

It could have been the speed at which they wanted the titanic out of England on its maiden voyage. After all, it was in competition with other ships.
