Are you trying to blow your own whistle here? Most non clubs do not have anywhere near the numbers you post. Most of us struggle to get a small portion of what we really have money and/or room for.

I'm not part of any club. I didn't realize how many pieces of rolling stock i had and I was shocked at how many passenger cars i had. I know people who have more then me. ANd i don't really have any room for all the stuff i have, but i manage,(my room is a complete mess with boxes and boxes) My train room wont even have enough room in it. well to have everything on display that is. My layout won't be that big eather(shelf layout around a room about 8x14). I just have it all to have diffrent things on the layout every once in a while. then the normal ones. and some of the stuff i have I got broken at a very low post and rebuilt it.
I admit I do work for a train shop and get the employee discount. but alot of what i have i did not get it on.
Not to menchon i can never say no to waht i think would be a good deal. which useally ends up putting me in $$ troubles. :o
OT: Anyone getting a "Your session timed out while posting. Please try to re-submit your message?" to get around it i been pressing preview then post and it seems to work.
I will be slowing down in the buying as i've got just about everything i feel would be what i need for my layout with the exception of the new releases by Roundhouse(Milk cars and Pacific) and I'm aiming for a 60-80 car Coal Drag (i may split it up into two coal drags) And unless Bachmann announces any new steam (without Sound) i doubt i'll be diong alot of buying for a while though i do want to get a few more 4-4-0 Americans. Thought little guys are very well made and pull very well.
Gee... thought this topic would produce some fish stories. It may yet. :D
I'm reminded of the modified adage -- He who dies with the most model trains is still dead.
