Title: Spectrum Consolidation motor - 3 pole or 5 pole - which one?
Post by: Pacific Northern on October 16, 2008, 04:58:34 PM
Mr. Bach Man

Some time back you indicated the motor in the Consolidation had been changed to a 3 pole motor.

I see that the current models are advertised as having 5 pole motors.  Did Bachmann switch back to using a 5 pole motor?

Dear PN,
It may be hold-over ad copy. As far as I know, there's been no change back, but I'll ask again.
Have fun!

Thanks, Mr. B

Just collected another Spectrum Connie as a spare and it is the smoothest and slowest running engine of the five Connies I have.

Dear PN,
Apparently it's old copy- the new models are three pole.
Thanks!
