Does anyone know when the new 44 Ton Diesel is supposed to come out???
Dear Franz,
I believe it's expected in the first quarter next year.
Have fun!

Will the new GE 44 Ton engine have low profile flanges to be able to run on code 55 rail?

Pretty safe bet - Bachmann has been using smaller flanges since the 1980s.

Any chance we'll see these at the Springfield show?? :-)
Dear Jim,
I'll try to bring a sample with me.
Have fun!

Dear Bach-Man,
I hope you can! My name is on at least two of them (when they come out, that is)! :-)
I can't wait to see them! I sold off all my resin 44 Tonners to make room for these. If these are done by the same group who did the Acela, I'll be in heaven.
Will you have the DD40AX on display too?
As in HO, it would nice to extend the design concept to a (Rutland) 70 Tonner.
