Anyone know what the power rating for the Bachmann smoke unit is?
I'm putting an NCE D13SRJ chip in an old Bachmann "Plus" series Class J 4-8-4 engine but I'm not sure if it's safe to hook the smoke unit up to one of the chip's outputs.

Don't know what was used in your locomotive... best you test the draw of the smoke unit in your locomotive.
In general, expect a draw of a little over 160mA.
