Title: train slows down

the train slows down at one spot and then speeds back up

Is this spot the farthest from where the wires are plugged into the track?

has the track been cleaned recently? Is the track a different type than another? (ie, brass, nickel silver, steel...)

Good Morning All,

       Sounds like the problem may be a voltage loss.   Try adding an extra set of power wires on the opposite side from where you feed power now.
