Title: minimum diameter on the railbus
Post by: reddobiefan on January 02, 2009, 08:04:04 PM
I'm planning on adding the railbus and trailer to my "O" gauge layout as a commuter link between my downtown area and my industrial site. What is the minimum diameter circle I can use as a turnaround. Thanks.

As far as I know, Bachmann recommends 18" radius, but it might make it around 15".  For appearance sake, it's best to use the largest radius that will fit your available space.  It appears to have a fairly long wheel base, which could cause a problem on sharper curves. See the latest issue of OGR  for a review of the rail bus.
